Biography

Currently the guitarist for progressive metal outfit Entheos, Musicians Institute grad Travis LeVrier first made a name for himself as one half of the exciting guitar duo in the highly revered progressive rock band Scale the Summit. In this new set of lessons, LeVrier demonstrates techniques and approaches he uses to build his creative and technically challenging rhythm guitar parts, including riffs in odd meters, using extended and suspended chords, triplets, syncopation, and more. The videos offer demonstrations at full tempo and in slowed-down fashion. The accompanying downloadable lesson tab shows the riff and features an explanation of LeVrier's approach to each.
