Biography

Currently guitarist for the Long Island-based Rhythm Kings, Douglas Baldwin has worked in the guitar business for more years than he may care to admit. In addition to his work as an educator and session player on the Long Island scene, he is a former associate editor of Guitar One and a contributing editor/writer to Guitar World, Guitar Shop, Maximum Guitar, and Guitar magazines, and is currently a regular contributor to Korg USA's online newsletter, for which he produces lessons on a variety of topics ranging from alternate tunings to ear training to effects for acoustic guitar. He is also the author of Play Mandolin Today! (Hal Leonard) and Play Guitar by Ear (Hal Leonard).
